In November 2024, the farmer field school in the Kageyo sector of Gicumbi District was bustling with activities. Farmers worked diligently, tending to their crops through essential tasks such as weeding and mulching. Following these efforts, a discussion was held on effective insect control methods for crops. The Transformational Leadership Center (TLC-Rwanda) expressed its satisfaction in witnessing the community’s commitment to implementing conservation agriculture practices in the region.
The residents of the Mutete sector in Gicumbi District are making significant strides toward financial empowerment through savings and loans. The savings groups play a crucial role in the community’s development. As TLC Rwanda, we remain committed to fostering a culture of savings and financial literacy. Through these initiatives, we aim to strengthen economic resilience, encourage responsible borrowing, and help the community build a more sustainable and secure future.
