On February 3, 2026, TLC Rwanda hosted visitors from MCC, including an MCC representative, MCC Program Manager Niyubahwe Denyse, and Project Manager Assistant Sibomana Aimé.

The visit focused on observing how the library operates through both its digital and physical services. The visitors spent quality time with children and a teacher, engaging in reading activities using iPad and printed books.

The team also visited a TLC Farmer Field School in Rukomo Sector under the Food Security through Conservation Agriculture project. During the visit, farmers shared the importance of adopting conservation agriculture practices, improving nutrition, addressing gender-based violence (GBV), accessing clean water, and participating in the VSLA program. These initiatives have contributed to increased production and improved livelihoods. Farmers also explained how higher yields and group savings have strengthened their economic development.

The visit was successful, and all activities went well. TLC Executive Director, Bucura David, expressed his appreciation to the MCC team for their continued support in community development initiatives, particularly the food security project and the Peace Library program
