The Transformational Leadership center (TLC), through the Children’s Peace Libraries hosted a training for Librarians on peer mediation from December 6-8, 2023. This training took place in Gicumbi district and was led by TLC staff. The goal of the training was to build the capacity of librarians to become facilitators of peer mediation, and the participants appreciated the knowledge and skills they gained from the training. The training was seen as a valuable way to promote peace in communities and libraries by helping children learn to resolve conflict peacefully without the intervention of adults
